Delivering aid to 8,000 civilians at the Rukban IDP camp, trapped in the Syrian desert inside an active conflict zone, across drone strikes, militia activity, and competing political interests, required an approach nobody had a playbook for.
We were part of the team that figured it out. On April 8, we're joining a panel at thefletcherschool at Tufts University to break down what it actually took, the civil-military coordination, the government coordination, and what we can learn from this case for the next crisis.
