Circa 2020, the year all of our lives changed.
I bought a Canon EOS 90D off a coworker. I did not even know how to shoot on manual yet. No understanding of lighting, no real direction, just a camera and a desire to do something meaningful. So I started offering free graduation photo shoots across New Orleans. The Class of 2020 was robbed of moments. No proms. No real graduations. No time with classmates. I just wanted to give a piece of that back, but in return, it gave me everything. That is where I found it. A graduate asked for a sports themed shoot, and something clicked. That moment turned into passion. Passion turned into purpose. Next thing I know, I am making the news. Some of those same graduates were recipients of the Malcolm Jenkins scholarship through College Track. Full circle. New Orleans grad season is coming back around. I might have to run this back.
