Zach Wilsonβs face says it all ππ
Wilson had a standout college career as the quarterback for the BYU Cougars from 2018 to 2020. As a true freshman in 2018, he became the youngest starting QB in program history, appearing in nine games with seven starts and throwing for 1,578 yards, 12 touchdowns, and just three interceptions. He built on that in 2019 before exploding in 2020, when he led BYU to an 11-1 season and finished eighth in Heisman Trophy voting.
Over his three-year career, Wilson played in 30 games (28 starts), completing 566 of 837 passes for 7,652 yards, 56 touchdowns, and a strong 162.91 passer efficiency rating, while adding 642 rushing yards and 15 rushing scores with his mobility and athleticism. His dynamic playmaking, deep-ball accuracy, and improvisational ability against Power 5 competition elevated his draft stock, leading to him being selected second overall by the New York Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft.ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ
