We’ve ALL been there, Social Media Managers, Graphic Designers and Strategists, right? It’s important to remember you’re providing a service, while also establishing boundaries for your time! I had to learn the hard way to develop processes and have hard boundaries around my time! Tip: In your contract build in a specific number of edits you’ll make to a design, video or copy before charging extra for that design, video or copy! I think 3 is best. This way, you encourage your client to communicate their needs UP FRONT and WELL before you begin work, and they know you’ll only provide so many edits before the old work becomes new work! Also, establish contractual deadlines for your clients responses on work you’ve turned in.
