COUNSELOR SPOTLIGHT: Next up in our counselor spotlight series is Nathalie Martinez! A class of 2020 UT alum, Martinez was a peer mentor for the Foundation Scholars Program prior to becoming an admissions counselor this past year. Nathalie loves the UT Austin community because even though it's a large campus, it's easy to find your place: "Going to college is a learning experience, so having a support system at the place that is going to be your home away from home for the next four years is essential. Whether that be your friends, professors or your academic advisor, there's always opportunities to create connections on campus. The connections that you make on campus as well as your family make up that support system." Nathalie's tips for your application: "Be genuine.
