#AD Yes, please! I made these delicate, sweet, & delicious pies featuring homemade pie crust from TasteEuropeButterofFrance just in time for Bastille Day! French butter contains at least 82% fat which is 2% higher than American butter—and it makes ALL the difference! Having more fat is an important quality to look for when you’re making pie dough and pastries. I was amazed at how quickly my pie crust dough came together. It also rolled out beautifully due to the extra fat content.

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup of unsalted European Butter from France
1/2 tsp. salt
8-10 tbsps. of ice water
1 egg, whisked
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3-4 tbsps. of milk
