Hinterland Music Festival is returning to the hills of Saint Charles for three days of live music and good times. hinterlandiowa is a multi-day music festival put on by Sam Summers, who owns Wooly's in the East Village and the Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines. Summers originally launched the music festival in 2015. Since, he's attracted artists such as Willie Nelson, Kacey Musgraves, Hozier, Maggie Rogers, Sturgill Simpson, TV on the Radio, Brandi Carlile, Dwight Yoakam and Tyler Childers.
