1️⃣ Both ribeyes were seasoned with my “pitmaster privilege” rub
2️⃣ Both ribeyes were smoked to 118 internal and seared to 128 being rested under butter

WINNER: CLASSIC RIBEYE
👉🏾 The flavor on the classic ribeye was more intense and far superior. I suspect this has to do with the fact that the tomahawk is cut thicker. Because of this, there is more unseasoned meat in the middle of each bite and you have a smaller crust to meat ratio. Not only did the regular ribeye taste better, it’s also a more significant bang for your buck!
