Homemade Crawfish boil
6 servings
1 lb of whole cooked frozen crawfish
1 lb of shrimps (fresh or frozen)
1 lb of red potatoes
2 ear corns cut into fourth
2 sticks of salted butter
3 tbsp minced garlic
2 lemons cut in wedges
1 package of spicy andouille sausage sliced
Juice from one lemon
Parsley for garnish
Seasoning
2 tbsp cajun seasoning
1 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
1 tsp cayenne
1 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp brown sugar
Fill a large pot halfway with water.
Add lemon wedges and bring to a boil
Add potatoes and corn first and let them boil for 15 minutes until potatoes are cooked
Add crawfish and shrimps into the pot and let the seafood boil for 5 minutes.
In a sauce pan add the butter, seafood seasoning, garlic and lemon juice. Simmer for a few minutes in low heat.Turn off the heat and set aside.
