Collab with justinlv ‣ Process For this concept, I was inspired by the work of model_mechanic who created a video transitioning between an iPhone and an old school style phone I wanted to build on that idea by combining it with live action footage to interact with a real physical object - Currently, DALL-E 2 doesn’t support creating images smoothly between prompts and seeds, so we used Stable Diffusion instead, which allows a lot more flexibility and advanced control. Using Stable Diffusion, justinlv generated over 1000 phones. From those, he cherry picked the best dozen or so, and tested iterations between them. Note, he didn’t use any video editing programs to tween between the phone states. Rather, he used Stable Diffusion to generate phones for each in-between state.
