We are excited to welcome Dr. Sandra Olson as another one of our 2023 Old Masters back to campus this November!
Sandy Olson is a retired Professor of Clinical Neurology Emeritus at Northwestern's Feinberg Medical School in Chicago. She graduated and took her training at Northwestern, and then went into practice there. She was involved in teaching, and served on many committees, and became the first woman chief of staff. She was also very involved in local societies, such as Chicago Medical Society and Illinois State Medical Society, of which she became the first woman president of each in separate years. She also became the first woman president of the American Academy of Neurology.
Sandy graduated from Purdue in 1959 with a BS in premed. She enjoyed her time at Purdue, and was active in many clubs and organizations while there, including being co-chairman of the old Masters program her senior year.
