Gaming + Cadet Research + AFRL = GRILL West. Cadets participating in the first ever AFRL-sponsored GRILL West team shared their work with the Dean recently. GRILL- Gaming Research Integration Learning Laboratory - provides the Academy the ability to form agile, interdisciplinary cadet teams to research specific questions and innovations challenges in both the Air Force and Space Force. Six cadets showed the Dean the multiplayer virtual reality game they’re developing. The game is designed for special tactics teams to prepare for an airfield seizure and control scenario. Next year, a team will work to build out a fully functional system. Cadets continue to put their classwork to work, developing #innovations and preparing for their future in the Air Force or Space Force.
