Gingerbread Skeleton Cookies 👻 Ingredients 1 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature 1/2 cup dark-brown sugar, packed 1 large egg 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses 3 cups unbleached all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 + 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg For decorating Cookie Icing In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and spices. Set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and molasses; mix well. With the machine on low speed, gradually add flour mixture, and beat until combined. Wrap the dough in plastic. Chill at least 1 hour. Preheat the Oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out dough to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into shapes you desired. Transfer to prepared baking sheets.
