Our final spirited tribute ends with our take on the delicious Calabaza en Tacha (Candied Pumpkin)✨ 🍭🎃 Calabaza en Tacha Sour 🍭🎃 * 1 oz Dano’s Añejo Tequila * 1 oz lime juice * 1 oz orange juice * 1 oz Pumpkin syrup * 1 egg white * 5 dashes bitters * Pepitas, for garnish 🧡 Pumpkin Syrup * 1 14 oz can of pumpkin puree * 2 cinnamon sticks * 1 piloncillo or ½ cup brown sugar * 1 cup water * Pinch of salt 1️⃣ In a small saucepan, add pumpkin puree, cinnamon sticks, piloncillo, water, and a pinch of salt. Simmer on medium-low for 15-20 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Set aside to cool completely. 2️⃣ For the Tequila Sour: In a shaker, add Añejo tequila, lime juice, orange juice, pumpkin syrup, egg white, and bitters. Shake until frothy then add ice and continue shaking until cold. 3️⃣ Strain into a glass, the foam will collect on top. Garnish with pepitas.
