At the University of Cincinnati, we're incredibly proud to celebrate the remarkable journey of first-generation college students like trenton.stern.⁣ ⁣ Trenton's story is just one of many, but it perfectly captures the spirit of determination and academic excellence that characterizes our first-gen Bearcats.⁣ ⁣ A UC senior studying biomedical studies and pre-medicine, Trenton is on his way to becoming a pediatrician, following his passion for STEM. His parents, Navy veterans, encouraged him to explore the military, but Trenton's dedication to higher education led him to UC. ⁣ ⁣ With 30% of first-year UC students being the first in their family to attend college, we're committed to supporting and empowering them every step of the way.
