I recently got a few new clients that are ✨brand new✨ to resistance training. So I wanted to post 3 tips for new
#gymgirlies that I wish I knew when I started training!
1️⃣ Start with the basics. If you’ve never lifted, don’t fall for the fancy antics you see online. Go with the movement patterns: Squats, presses, rows, hip hinges, and lunges.
2️⃣ Follow a program and create a routine. If you’re not currently consistent with exercise, you need to set a clear schedule that you can follow so that you don’t miss workouts and start to get consistent in the gym! A program will also make sure you follow workouts that align with your goals.
3️⃣ Set clear goals. I always help my clients know exactly what they want before we start training so that we have measurable factors to make sure they’re moving towards their goals. Even if it’s increased energy and more consistency, after a mo...
