## Overview

Snapchat is looking for creative, motivated students to join the Snap Ambassador Program and support campus-focused Spotlight activations during Rush Week and select moments throughout the school year.

Snap Ambassadors are students who are plugged into Greek life, campus culture, and social media trends. As part of the program, ambassadors will be onboarded and educated by the Snap team, gain experience creating native Snapchat content, and have the opportunity to build their social presence as verified campus ambassadors.

## Program Responsibilities

* **Snap Onboarding:** Complete Snap onboarding ahead of Rush Week and learn how to grow your individual and House Snapchat as a campus ambassador.
* **Spotlight Bootcamp:** Attend the Spotlight Bootcamp to learn campaign goals, content best practices, Spotlight strategy, and what performs well on Snapchat.
* **Spotlight Content Creation:** Create and post native Spotlight videos during key campaign windows, highlighting Rush Week energy, student life, campus culture, and relevant moments throughout the school year.
* **Campus Engagement:** Encourage house members, friends, and other students to create and post Spotlight content as part of campus activations.

## Who We’re Looking For

* Current Alabama student involved in or connected to campus and/or Greek life
* Comfortable creating short-form video content on an iPhone
* Strong understanding of student culture, social trends, and what feels native to Snapchat
* Excited to grow their social presence and develop as a content creator
* Comfortable encouraging peers to participate and create content
* Reliable, proactive, and able to post consistently during key campaign windows
* Interested in social media, content creation, campus culture, and community-building

Snap Ambassador - University of Alabama

## Overview

The Snapchat Ambassador Program is a paid opportunity for a select group of University of Alabama student creators who are deeply connected to campus culture and Greek life.

Ambassadors will work directly with the Snapchat team to capture and share authentic Bama Rush content on Spotlight, helping showcase the energy, traditions, and moments that make Rush Week one of the biggest cultural events on campus. Throughout the program, ambassadors will receive education on Snapchat best practices, Spotlight strategy, and creator growth, while building their own presence on the platform.

## **Ambassador Responsibilities**

**Onboarding & Training**

* Complete Snapchat onboarding prior to Rush Week.
* Attend a Spotlight Bootcamp covering platform best practices, content strategy, and campaign objectives.

**Content Creation**

* Create and publish **3 Spotlight posts per day (1 editorial :30 -60 seconds, 2 :15-:30 seconds)** during the campaign period.
* Capture authentic, engaging content centered around Bama Rush, Greek life, campus traditions, and student life.
* Follow Snapchat content best practices while maintaining your own creative style.

**Community Engagement**

* Encourage fellow students and house members to create and share Spotlight content during key campaign moments.
* Help build excitement and participation around Snapchat activations on campus.

## Who We’re Looking For

* Current University of Alabama student.
* Active in Greek life and/or highly involved in campus culture.
* Comfortable creating short-form video content on an iPhone.
* Strong understanding of social media trends and what feels native to Snapchat.
* Excited to grow as a creator and represent Snapchat on campus.
* Reliable, proactive, and able to consistently create content during campaign windows.

**Compensation**

* **Fee:** $1500 USD
