Who knew putting your phone on a spin cycle could make for great content? We taught our Team Visa Athletes the spin the phone transition, and now it’s your turn! Just follow along with our tutorial! ☑️ Step 1: With a group of friends, take a selfie video, set your phone on the ground, and spin it. ☑️ Step 2: Change outfits and in the same selfie video mode, set your phone on the ground, spin it in the same direction, and excitedly pick it up with your friends! ☑️ Step 3: Edit like a pro! The goal is for you and your friends to seamlessly change outfits, so the transition must happen during the same point in both clips. In your editing app, trim the end of Clip 1 when the phone spin creates a blurred image. Then, trim the beginning of Clip 2 toward the ending of the blurred phone spin. Bravo! Starting with the art of pillar transitions! ☑️ Step 1: Film yourself moving behind a pillar. ☑️ Step 2: Repeat Step 1 but in a different outfit and location. ☑️ Step 3: Edit like a pro! The goal is to change locations seamlessly—first, overlay Clip 1 over Clip 2. Use the Masking Tool in your editing app to cut out the ending visual of Clip 1, where you have moved past the pillar.
