Houston SaberCats

The Houston SaberCats are looking for energetic and motivated candidates to join our Marketing Street Team for the 2025 off-season. This is a college credit-only internship that provides hands-on experience working in sports marketing and community engagement.  
  
**Position Overview:  
**Marketing Street Team interns will play a vital role in promoting the SaberCats brand throughout the Houston area. Candidates must be highly organized, able to multitask across multiple projects, and comfortable interacting with fans at events.  
  
**Key Responsibilities:**

*   Set up and manage marketing tables at community events, festivals, and SaberCats games.
*   Engage with fans and the public to promote upcoming games, events, and team initiatives.
*   Assist in executing grassroots marketing efforts to increase brand visibility.
*   Contribute creative ideas to help grow the game of rugby and the Houston SaberCats brand.
*   Help create a positive fan experience while representing the team as part of a dynamic and creative marketing crew. 
*   Learn, study, and effectively promote **ticketing packages, special offers, and gameday information** to drive attendance and engagement.

  
**Qualifications:**

*   Currently pursuing a degree in **Sports Administration, Sports Marketing,** or a related field.
*   Strong oral and written communication skills.
*   Professional appearance and enthusiastic attitude.
*   Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
*   **Must have reliable transportation.** 

  

**Compensation:**

*   This is an unpaid position.
*   Must be for college credit.
