**About the Harrisburg Senators:**  
The Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, play at FNB Field on City Island in Pennsylvania’s capital city. The Senators provide affordable family entertainment and exciting Minor League Baseball, while remaining deeply committed to community involvement and fan engagement. The Senators are a proud member Club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). Formed in 2021, DBH supports, promotes, and enhances Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation, and investment. DBH oversees 45+ clubs across the country, working to strengthen fan connections, invest in communities, and grow the game of baseball at the grassroots level.

**Position Overview:**

The Harrisburg Senators are seeking a highly motivated and creative Promotions & Marketing Associate to join our team for the upcoming season. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both in-game entertainment and digital content creation, while supporting the overall fan experience at the ballpark. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and attention to detail to help enhance the Senators’ game-day atmosphere and digital presence  
  

**Promotions & Game Day Entertainment:**

*   Assist with the planning and execution of on-field promotions, theme nights, and fan engagement activities
*   Coordinate contestants, props, and timing for between-inning entertainment
*   Help set up and tear down promotional materials and equipment on game days
*   Contribute creative ideas to enhance the Senators’ entertainment experience
*   Coordinate pre-game activities and on-field events such as National Anthem performers, first pitches, and mascot appearances
*   Support marketing efforts for special entertainment initiatives, including theme nights, live performances, and character appearances
*   Help create game-day scripts for each home game
*   Support the promotional team and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution

**General Responsibilities:**

*   Represent the Senators in a professional manner both in the ballpark and the community
*   Support the marketing and promotions team with additional projects as needed
*   Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with fans, partners, and staff

**Qualifications:**

*   Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Sports Management, or related field
*   Strong creative and storytelling skills with attention to detail
*   Comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment
*   Strong communication and organizational skills
*   Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season

**Internship Details**

*   Seasonal internship (early January – September)
*   Compensation: $1,200/month, paid hourly
*   Based at FNB Field in Harrisburg, PA
*   Must be available for all Senators’ home games and select non-game day events
