Reflecting on my internship with Penn State Outreach, one word keeps coming to mind: growth. At the beginning of this semester, I thought I had a general idea of what Outreach did—but I quickly realized just how much I didn’t know. ✨
From drafting social copy to working on real campaigns, I gained hands-on experience that helped me build confidence, refine my skills, and see the power of strategic communication in action.
Outreach isn’t just one office—it’s a network of people and programs supporting learners, families, and communities across Pennsylvania and beyond. Because of this, every project taught me something new—and I’ll carry those lessons with me far beyond this internship. 🫶
