#001 Have do dealt w/ an argumentative person?
What do you do? Should you engage and prove your point? Or remove yourself from the situation.
We all know an argumentative person. It can be a friend, ourselves, family member, co-worker, acquaintance, or teammate. And the majority of the time, there isn’t any REAL respect in being the person who is divisive, easily angered, lacks self control and doesn’t know when to be quiet.
“Honor” in this verse refers to reputation, as well as respect.
Honor belongs to, a well-respected individual who has self-control, knows how to be quiet, is humble enough to not let ego be the fuel of their fury. And honorable person is respected and seen as wise.
There will be people in our lives who are antagonistic and will have hostility towards you, trying to get a rise out of you.
It’s your decision to engage or ignore.
Prayer: I pray today that this will be a reminder to us all to think first before we react in a hostile conversation ...
