Fall in Flagstaff is my favorite time to be in the mountains. I got out just in time before the cold sets in, but it was great while it lasted. Going back and forth between LA and Flag has been an experiment the last couple of years and I think for the most part it’s been really successful. I love switching up my training locations and getting time in a big city by the beach AND a small town in the mountains. There are pros and cons to both locations, but the biggest pro for me is my running community in Flag- the people make the place.
