Happy National Gymnastics Day!! I remember dreaming of becoming one of those gymnasts who scored in the 9.9’s. I always knew I could achieve that goal, but I spent 3 years on the sidelines because of my knee injuries. I remember this day so vividly because it was my first time competing in our home arena in over 3 years… AND my first ever score above a 9.9!! I surpassed my goal with a score of 9.925. All of my friends and family were there to support me and make me feel special. I spent the rest of the night signing autographs, taking photos, and talking to the people I love most:) This moment was so special and something I’ll cherish forever.
