Little did I know when I wrote this song, the impact that it would have on so many people, especially those with Tourette Syndrome or a physical or mental disability. I wrote this song as therapy for me, and after I put it out I realized how many people felt the exact same way, and I realized I wasn’t alone. The amount of parents, teens, and kids who have told me this song gives them a voice and makes them feel heard is always surreal to me. Parents have even sent me videos of their kids with Tourette Syndrome listening to this song, and their tics vanish while listening to it, it’s mind blowing to see.
