We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving, including the thousands who ran by 1180 Delaware Ave. today in the ymcabuffaloniagara Turkey Trot. Many students, alumni and staff participated in the uniquely Buffalo tradition of running (and having fun) at the 8K trot, among them: A group mostly from the Class of 2022 with history teacher Craig Hinchcliffe: Conor Shelby, Steven Kropelin, Charlie Fortner, Luke Brydges, Adam Whitman ’23, Andrew Sabuda. A running group which toted a canoe included Andrew Beecher ’17 plus Evan Popat ’20 and C.J. Lenahan ’20. Liam Feeney ’25, Isaiah Aljuwani ’25, Ethan Pyrigi ’26 and Owen Gray ’26 stopped by school on their day off. Matt Talty ’21 ran as did sister Kathryn (while dad Mike Talty ’87 and several other members of the Class of 1987 held their annual gathering in support of the participants).
