CHANGES ARE ON THEIR WAY. The Government has made amendments to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. If you are a KCA client and these changes will impact you, we'll be discussing this with you shortly, if we haven’t already, and will deal with the amendments to the claim calculations on your behalf. If you're not one of our clients, then be aware that from 1st July employers can bring furloughed employees back to work part-time, while still being able to claim the CJRS grant for the time not worked. Further changes being implemented to the CJRS are coming on 1st August 2020. From that date, employers will become liable for employer National Insurance and Pension Contributions on furloughed employees' wages, and then from 1st September 2020, a decrease in the level of the grant is being introduced.
