These are three healthy substitutes I have when I have a sweet tooth:
1. Apple and Peanut Butter 🍎🥜 - It’s the best snack! Slice up an apple and put a little fresh peanut butter on there. By fresh, I mean just peanuts that have been ground up. Dip it in, and it’ll get you nice and full. It’s sweet, it’s got healthy fats, and it’s amazing.
2. Watermelon 🍉 - Who does not love a good watermelon? I’m a watermelon expert. I know how to pick them up. It’s got to be the right weight and the right hollowness. If it’s too heavy, then the watermelon is probably all watery and going to be mushy. So, you want it to be lighter but sound hollow. Watermelon is one of my favorite snacks when it’s in season.
3. Berries 🍓 - Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries... they’re so healthy! I make a big plate of berries, let them reach room temperature, and just chow down on those.
