Last weekend, Soror Parker attended the 34th annual Delta Days in the Nation’s Capital on behalf of the Zeta Mu chapter! During her time in Washington, D.C. she sat in on collegiate workshops with Sorors from all over the country. Soror Parker learned about environmental justice advocacy, health disparities in the Black community, resources for civic engagement among young people and so much more. To end Delta Days, Soror Parker joined over 300 Delta women in Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill to lobby for issues affecting the communities we serve! Some of her favorite moments from the conference include meeting each Past National President who attended DDNC and networking with @euniquejg, founder of @becauseofthem. Soror Parker also met @sharon.farmer.1481, the first Black woman to be hired as a White House photographer! Forward with Fortitude 🔺.
