Peep the pile-up from last night 👀 When snowmaking in the 20ºs our fan guns run at about 1/3 the capacity, but when the temps dip into the mid-teens, as they were last night, our snow guns can blow 2x the snow in the same amount of time 🌬❄️ As you may have heard, SNOWsat Technology is now in the cats at Bogus Basin 😏 Those fancy new screens in our pistenbullyworld 600 Winch Cat allow us to collect precise snow depth measurements. A LiDAR map of Bogus Basin was provided by boisestateuniversity Snow Science team and the GPS in the snowcat references the cat’s location and elevation off the ground to determine how much snow is where 🌨 In addition to snow depth, SNOWSat allows us to see where the cats have been, the run time, fuel usage, and more with the goal of maximizing efficiency - helping us accurately meet our sustainability goals 🌏💪 #NonProfitAllGood #BogusBasin #TrueBogus #ForGoodForRealForEveryone
