On July 16, 2021, personnel from media outlets across the Triangle came together to participate in the Free Play Soccer Pop-Up media day. Activities included speeches from The Busy Foundation, StreetSoccer USA, and the Mayor of Raleigh, a quick drill session from professional NC soccer players, and a scrimmage game. Technician Spirts Editor Nicholas Schnittker played in the scrimmage. Watch the highlights from his gameplay here. Visit the pop-up soccer field in Downtown Raleigh until August 15th.
