“Jurassic Park: The Ride” is a water ride themed after Steven Spielberg’s film “Jurassic Park” and the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton, upon which the film is based. This attraction is featured at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, and Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, Japan. It previously existed at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, before being transformed into “Jurassic World: The Ride.” Concurrent with the film’s production, the ride was developed and launched at Universal Studios Hollywood on June 21, 1996. Replicas of this ride, known as “Jurassic Park River Adventure,” were later constructed at Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Japan. Additionally, a variation called “Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure” was inaugurated at Universal Studios Singapore in 2010.
