“Back to the Future: The Ride” was an immersive simulator attraction at Universal Studios theme parks, drawing inspiration from the “Back to the Future” film trilogy and acting as a mini-sequel to “Back to the Future Part III” from the 1990s. This attraction was featured at Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood, where it was later replaced by “The Simpsons Ride,” and at Universal Studios Japan, where “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” took its place.
The narrative of the ride involved a first-person journey chasing Biff Tannen through various time periods. Steven Spielberg, who was the executive producer of the original film series, contributed as a creative consultant to the ride.
