Two days after losing a defamation lawsuit, Ageinvestigates was not only awarded the special #Walkley Honour for #Media #Freedom, but a new annual $10,000 #Grant for Investigative #Journalism was established in his name. I have a suggestion for walkleys on suitable criteria to win. 1. You must lose a #defamation lawsuit. 2. You must have set up at least one ambush #interview, where you lied to the person you are interviewing about the topics you intended to discuss. 3. You must mislead the public by reporting the opposite of what your #investigation actually revealed. 4. You must have sought an injunction to prevent the prevailing party in a defamation #lawsuit that you lost from publishing your own notes, interviews, and emails that expose the #truth that your #dishonest #reporting concealed from the public.
