Canada Snowboard has just dropped new merch for the upcoming Style Experience, the FIS Snowboard Big Air World Cup, going down in Edmonton on December 9. 🏂

The line features a special collaboration with Edmonton Indigenous artist, Dusty LeGrande from Mobilize Waskawewin. The merch features the Star Homie, who is composed of three elements: The Great Mystery (Creator), the Star, and the River. It represents the connection between the Nehiyaw people and their ancestors, presenting a story while showing Indigenous art through a new perspective. 👏

“As Nehiyaw people, we’ve been taught that we come from the stars and that our ancestors exist amongst the stars,” said LeGrande. “Star Homie was inspired by the never ending connection we have with all of our ancestors and created with the element of one of our oldest art forms: rock art.” 🪨
