Disbarred South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh, already convicted for the murders of his wife and younger son, was sentenced to 27 years in prison for financial crimes he pleaded guilty to. At his sentencing hearing, those Murdaugh stole from were able to speak about the effect his actions had on them.
