E.T. Adventure is an immersive dark ride located at Universal Studios Florida and previously at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Japan. This attraction, inspired by the film “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” features animatronics created by Sally Corporation. The ride first debuted at Universal Studios Florida in 1990, followed by an opening at Universal Studios Hollywood in 1991. The third iteration was launched at Universal Studios Japan in 2001. However, the Hollywood version was closed on March 14, 2003, making way for Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride. Similarly, the Japan installation ceased operations on May 10, 2009, replaced by Space Fantasy: The Ride. As of 2019, the original Orlando attraction remains active and underwent a renovation in 2017. Plans were also in place for E.T. Adventure to be a feature at Universal Studios South Korea in 2021.
