I don’t hear people talk about this enough. Most of these things are not things you can turn on for a college showcase or official visit. Most of these items are a part of who you are. BTW: the title sounds better to talk about college recruiting but in reality the work is done everyday in your environment. Building good habits at club or high school. You never know if someone is watching during training, warmup, in the parking lot, etc… 1. Body Language… especially after a mistake. Even if it’s not your mistake. 2. How you interact with Others… Your teammates, opponents, coaches, parents referees etc… 3. Are you staying engaged in the game… even if you are on the bench.
