In Togo, Africa, occupational therapy student Kate Brandel helped support the healthcare needs of a local community. She unpacked a shipping container of medical supplies and assisted a nurse midwife do baby wellness checks. The service opportunity, initiated by her global health professor who also leads the nonprofit Global Partners in Hope, has made a lasting impact.
