Introducing our first comprehensive solar-powered clean water system installed at a school! ☀️💧 At the Chayamba Secondary School in Malawi, accessing clean water had always been a challenge for the 600+ students and their teachers, disrupting academic life at this boarding school where we also sponsor 13 students. Severe limitations in the public water supply and an antiquated, unclean shallow backup well were causing issues with health, hygiene, and food preparation, putting everyone on the premises at risk. In the words of the student council president, Chifuniro, “Imagine you are in class under sweltering temperatures and you have not taken a bath and there is no water to drink.
