Administration has been investigating rumors today of a school shooting that threatened the safety of East students and faculty but hasn’t currently found any information proving these rumors to be true, according to Principal Jason Peres. It’s currently unknown who started these rumors, according to Peres. “We received information about rumors circulating our school and we have investigated those rumors and have not found any credible evidence that there's a threat to anyone's safety,” Peres said. The rumors were spread via Snapchat, and Associate Principal Susan Leonard is adamant that the person that started these rumors needs to come forward.
