The Whitecaps welcome top prospects Jackson Jobe and Luke Gold to the roster! Jackson Jobe was the Tigers’ 1st round pick in 2021 coming from Heritage Hall High School in Oklahoma. The 21-year-old RHP joins the team after a short rehab assignment in Lakeland. He will have a tentative start date of Saturday, July 29th at 7:05 PM. Luke Gold was the 5th round pick for the Tigers in 2022, coming from Boston College. The right-handed second baseman comes from Lakeland with a .269 batting average and .367 on base percentage.
