The start of December made for the start of Christmas at Canisius on Friday as our Christmas tree was decorated in our Higgins Hall foyer and the CHS Parents Association concluded its annual Holiday Poinsettia & Wreath Sale.
Students helped unload the greenery and the CHSPA sorted and distributed the wreaths and poinsettias in the Basil Lobby of the Bernard J. Kennedy '49 Field House. All proceeds from the sale go towards CHS Campus Ministry service and spirituality programs.
We are grateful for the CHSPA, which annually sponsors and coordinates a variety of events "in support of the school and our sons."
The Christmas tree arrived this week, with our outstanding maintenance team and elbers_gardencenter staff raising the 20-foot tree from a Springville farm high to the ceiling before students did the tree-trimming. Check out our reel to see video of the transformation.
