Bigger than basketball. No. 5 Kansas just beat No. 4 UConn in a defensive battle, but Kansas’ head coach, Bill Self, said the game belonged to one person- Kansas basketball junior KJ Adams. After battling bladder cancer for years, KJ’s mom, Yvonne, passed away last month. Following the game, KJ hopped on a plane to attend her funeral services in Austin, Texas.
