Today is Toomaj Salehi’s birthday. Toomaj, an Iranian dissident rapper, was abducted by armed plainclothes agents in Iran and taken to an undisclosed location on November 30. His rearrest occurred less than two weeks after he was released from over a year in prison, including 252 days in solitary confinement.
