The Penn State wrestling season opener started off with a bang as the Nittany Lions knocked off Lehigh 30-10 in Rec Hall. Starting the day off in the 125-pound match was Nittany Lion Gary Steen alongside Mountain Hawk Sheldon Seymour. After going scoreless in the first period, both wrestlers were fighting for dominance on the mat. Steen was able to get on the board at the beginning of the second period with an escape, before Seymour answered with an escape of his own. Penn State’s next dual match will be at 1:00 p.m. on Dec. 10 in Rec Hall against Hofstra.
