Foreshores across the state will be the focus of a safety blitz this summer, with an influx of locals and visitors expected to head to the beach as the weather (finally!) warms up.⁣ ⁣ Operation Summersafe will run day and night over the summer months, providing a heightened police presence in and around areas including St Kilda, Half Moon Bay, Altona and Williamstown, as well as across the Mornington Peninsula.⁣ ⁣ Officers on foot and horseback, as well as on the water, will head to local foreshores, surrounding parks, entertainment precincts and public transport hubs across the next three months.⁣ ⁣ If you're heading out to enjoy some sun or hit the beaches, remember to:⁣ ☀️ Keep your belongings within sight and don't leave valuables unattended⁣ ☀️ Swim between the red and yellow flags⁣ ☀️ Report any anti-social or criminal behaviour to your local police station.⁣ ⁣ For (more) beach safety tips, click the 'Beach and Waterways Safety' link in our bio. 🔗 #SummerSafety #WaterSafety...
