We expect there to be 86 million millionaires in the world by 2027. Global wealth fell for the first time since 2008 in 2022. But we expect it to rise again soon. Over the next five years, we predict global wealth will shoot up by 38% – reaching USD 629 trillion. And it will be middle-income countries that are driving global trends. We also estimate wealth per adult to reach USD 110,270. At the same time the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals is likely to rise to 372,000.
