We asked four inspiring illustrators to show us what Rainbow Laces and the themes of equality, diversity and allyship in football and wider society mean to them 🏳️‍🌈 Millie: "My thinking for this drawing was to highlight the importance of being yourself as a football fan. Celebration is a huge part of football. Being able to do so with whoever you love and without fear of discrimination is an environment we are all deserving of." Holly: "I wanted to illustrate Leah Williamson, Bukayo Saka, and Aaron Ramsdale because I love how they are using their voices to address important topics, such as making football a more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone." Shannon: "My illustration is based on a Rainbow Laces tournament which Sheffield United’s Rainbow Blades held in 2022 that myself and friends took part in.
