The Nike Air More Uptempo More holds a special place in my collection. These were one of those pairs I remember seeing as a kid in footlocker, just obsessing over the visible air unit, and the massive “AIR” text on the sides. There was no way I could’ve gotten these as a kid, as my family was on a budget, but I always wanted them, and looked on with envy whenever I saw a kid wearing them at school or on the basketball court. Nostalgia is a helluva feeling. One that connects us with childhood memories and provides motive for things we like later in life. I get a special feeling Everytime I slip these on.
